SWL members, with the help of Ridge Point student volunteers, packed emergency kits Saturday, April 17, 2021 for 1,200 seniors served by Fort Bend Senior Services. These are designed to help these seniors during times of weather and other emergencies. Special thanks to SWL members Viki Deardorff, Danielle Michaels and Sarah Poole for their leadership and to members Julie Platek, Shirley Babineaux, Diana Michaels, Beverly LeBlanc, Martha Powner, Milka Horst and Joy Shively for pitching in. SWL builds bonds of friendship while serving our community.
