Back to school season is always busy, but for Sienna Women's League, it marks the end of our annual Back to School Drive. This year, SWL had over 25 members participate in multiple aspects of our Back to School Drive to solicit in kind and financial donations to support our community partner, Shared Dreams.
At our September Meeting, SWL was thrilled to present Shared Dreams with a donation of $4,000.00 and $3,700.00 worth of school supplies, which were delivered on July 31. These efforts were led by four committee leaders: Nina Wetzel, Joy Shively, Judy Barr and Rhonda Grisham-Storey.
Program Supervisor, Bobbie Anderson, was in attendance to our September 11th Membership Meeting to receive the donation. Bobbie Shared that more than 2,500 students have been supplied with school supplies thus far in the 2024/2025 school year.
A huge thank you to our members and community members who partnered with us. All of our business partners have been featured our on social media channels during the drive itself.
