Park's Youth Ranch Volunteer Day

Sienna Women's League has been looking for ways to expand our impact within the Fort Bend Community. In 2023, a member committee evaluated multiple non-profit organizations within Fort Bend, searching for new areas where SWL could offer support: Park's Youth Ranch (PYR) is one of those organizations. PYR provides emergency shelter and services to homeless youth. The program shelters youth ages 7-17 for short periods of time or 16-20 year olds for up to 18 months. PYR is the only non-profit emergency shelter for youth in Fort Bend County. Either of our members visited their facility on April 6 to support with PYR's community event, Go Fish. Our members enjoyed seeing the facility, interacting with the youth and spending time together.

SAVE THE DATE

The Sienna Women's League is excited to host our first ever New Resident Social on April 10 at 7:00 PM at Sawmill Lake Club.  So many of our members have experienced moving into a new community and looking for ways to find friends and get connected so we've created an avenue for new women in the community to do just that!  Several local businesses will be in attendance to share free samples and SWL Members are putting together a few special treats for those who attend.  This event is free and open to all women in Fort Bend County.  We hope to meet you there!

ALANA HIGGINBOTHAM KICKS OFF 2024 WITH SIENNA WOMEN'S LEAGUE

Sienna Women's League officially started the new year on January 17, 2024 at Sawmill Lake Club. Members were treated to a special guest appearance by Alana Higginbotham. Alana is an expert in mentorship and coaching with more than 20 years experience working with clients to elevate their lives. Alana brought laughs and inspiration by sharing personal stories and was so loved by the group that many have asked for her return next year! Luckily there are many ways to stay engaged with Alana as she is a published author, podcast host, Certified Life Coach, professional speaker and local community member. She can be found on all social platforms.

During the business portion of our meeting, several Board Members covered the 2024 vision for the league. SWL is excited to bring members more opportunities to get involved in the community and build more and stronger friendships with other league members by offering monthly group volunteering opportunities and monthly socials.
